2. User Accounts

3. Listings and Rentals
As a listing owner, you agree to:

4. Payments and Fees
All payments are processed securely through our payment provider. We charge a platform fee of 20% on all transactions. Refunds are subject to our cancellation policy.
5. Security Deposits
Listing owners may require a refundable security deposit for their items. When a security deposit is required:
- The deposit amount will be clearly displayed before booking
- Renters will be charged the rental price plus the security deposit upfront
- The deposit is held separately and is fully refundable
- Deposits are automatically refunded when the rental is completed without issues
- If damage occurs, the owner may file a protection claim against the deposit
- Disputed claims will be reviewed by our admin team
6. Liability Agreements
Listing owners may include custom liability agreements that renters must accept before booking. By accepting a liability agreement, you acknowledge and agree to:
- The specific terms and conditions set by the listing owner
- Your responsibility for any damage or loss during the rental period
- Compliance with all safety guidelines and usage instructions
- The owner's right to file protection claims for violations
7. Protection Claims and Damage
If an item is damaged, lost, or not returned as agreed, listing owners may file a protection claim:
- Claims must be filed before marking the rental as completed
- Claims must include a description and may include photographic evidence
- Claim amounts are limited to the security deposit amount (if applicable)
- Renters have the right to dispute claims
- Our admin team reviews all claims and makes final decisions
- Approved claim amounts are deducted from the security deposit
8. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Attempt to circumvent our payment system
9. Liability and Disclaimers
We provide the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed, the accuracy of listings, or the ability of users to complete transactions.
10. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between users, we encourage resolution through our messaging system. For unresolved disputes, users agree to binding arbitration.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
